Fireproof, the movie.

My hubs and I LOVED this movie...I wasnt sure about how'd he react to it, whether it was too churchy or not, it really isnt, but this movie was so well written and acted...Well it was such an inspiration that we got the Love Dare Journal/book... Granted we are older and newly married (Jan 2009), but this book is a great tool for remembering the small stuff, the stuff you take for granted which is the cement for your foundation...I recommend it to anyone, whether they are having marital problems or not, as it is a way to make a marriage stronger.....Some may say, "why fix it if it aint broken"...Well, I say, "Treat it like a baby plant, nuture it, it will grow and blossom, blooming into something wonderful."

i loved this movie. sort of wished it had of been out before the ex and i split as the counselor we went to sure didn't help. i would encourage any couple to watch this and maybe use some of these tools in helping communication along.

I totally agree... We got the Love Dare journal and I think its a great tool, and we're newly married....but like the book says, "The wife got her man and the husband got his trophy", then the fizzle fizzes away...so we use it to remind us to not forget what we have.

They had this movie review on an episode of 18 kids and counting because it's duggar approved.. Krik Cameron was there and told them that whenever he had to kiss his actress wife, his real wife stood in for those because he wasn't comfortable kissing another woman.
