Well if you like horror flicks; you'll love this one. Halfway through I asked myself why in the world was I watching this. It's very disturbing. I found out later that it is a remake. It's a Wes Craven production so a lot of blood and horrible events. Especially in the beginning with what happens to these 2 teenage girls.
Again I ask myself why I watched; but I heard the ending was good and was curious.
So...if you like horror; this is for you!

I really, REALLY want to see this, but I'm askeered because Theresa or someone said there is brutal rape scene on a 16 year old girl.

I went to the theatre to see this because I like scary movies, but now I won't recommend it to anyone because of that rape scene. It is very graphic and very violent. I have no idea why they thought they needed to put that scene in there. Could have had the same effect without it. I would not have given them my $$ if I would have known that was in it.

Was it gory or just scary? We saw the collector, talk about gory. Had I known I would have seen something else.

It is a 17 year old teenager; and it's sickening. You can leave the room during that part. But there is a lot of blood. It's one where you could imagine people cheering in the theatre when the bad guys get theirs!
