I rented and watched this last night. What a surprise! I loved it and wondered why I never heard anything about it last year when it came out.
I highly recommend this one!
Meg Ryan, Annette Benning Eva Mendes Debra Messing, and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Now I want to rent the original 1939 version!

I saw this a few weeks ago. When it first came out I had no desire to see it. I thought it was some kind of corny anti-man sort of thing since they said no men were allowed on the set during filming, etc.

I eneded up liking the movie way more than I thought I would. Pretty good for a rental. The butter scene alone is worth renting it for me.

I guess you can't judge a movie by the media!

Evidently the original had all the major MGM stars under contract in 1939. And some of them weren't too happy about it.

I agree the butter scene was funneee!
