You've never heard of Dean Koontz!!?? Gosh I thought he was well known. I always enjoyed his books more than King.
My first Koontz book was Watchers and that way back in the very late 80's ...now I feel old LOL

The last book I read in fact was a Dean book. The Darkest Evening Of The Year. Another dog inspired book.

I also recommend By The Light Of The Moon.
