    Default The War Horse

I've seen the trailers for this movie (coming out December 25th, I think) and am really looking forward to seeing it

I'm going out on a limb here....I cannot believe all the 10 star reviews on this movie. I am a horse lover since I was able to walk and I really thought this would be a great movie but IMO it was so sappy it stunk. I had to google it to make sure it was actually directed by Spielberg. It was just so far fetched. The filming was beautiful and there were some good actors in the film....that is about the only good thing I can say I can say.

I've read the book and it was AWSOME(I'm not a book fan so for me to say that it must have been good, lol) I was really wanting to see it. Was it just how the words were or the whole movie itself was just sappy?

At one point the german soldiers were going to harness Joey's "friend" in a line be to pull heavy artillery.....Joey, knowing the black horse couldn't pull the load runs to stand in his place....there were just to many incidents like this that the audience was asked to swallow.
