Saoirse Ronan (Atonement) is a 16 year old who is being taught to run, hide, fight and kill by her father, Eric Bana, out in the artic woods for her entire life. They have been hiding since she was a toddler. They have been completely off the grid. She is fluent in several languages, but all her life experience comes from books. She's never even heard music. There is one piece of modern technology in their cabin...a black box with a switch. She's told that if she wants to leave...all she has to do is hit that switch...and their location will be known by the people who are looking for them. Finally no longer able to stay sequestered....Hanna flips the switch.

And Cate Blanchette is notified Hanna and her father are back on the grid. And the hunt is on.

I don't want to give any more away because this movie was so cool!! Ronan did a fantastic job of giving you the perfect mix of childlike naivete and cold blooded killer. Just remember:

"Adapt. Or Die."
