    Default Unstoppable

Action film starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pine (Kirk from the Star Trek reboot) trying to stop a runaway train carrying toxic chemicals from derailing in a major city. Based on the true story of a runaway train in Ohio in 2001.

Suspense filled! I was literally sitting on my hands to keep from biting my nails. I wouldn't say this movie is about the performances....Denzel is pretty much phoning in the same character he's played in the last 5 movies he's been in since he's been cast as the old guy, not the hot lead. Which Chris Pine is by the way. But the story of how this train got loose and how the company that owns the railroad and the train crews try to stop this metal monster was riveting.

    Definitely recommend. 4 STARS

I agree. No stunning performances....but good on-the-edge-of-your-seat entertainment.

I agree!! Saw the movie a few weeks ago, thought it was very good. I'm not an action movie girl either so for me to like it was amazing. haha

Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?"- John Grogan

I have this at home, but haven't watched it yet. It was filmed here in our area. My husband is actually sitting at a stop light in one of the scenes they filmed while the train went by. He was still working then, and said they were always stopping traffic for filming.
