I finished The Book Thief by Markus Zusak this week. I believe that this is marketed as a "young adult" book. The book is narrated by death and takes place in Germany during WWII. The main character is a young girl. I took a Holocaust literature class in college and was interested in checking this out. It was a slow start for me, but turned out to be a worthwhile read. If you are interested in Holocaust literature or simply a deeply moving book, one of the most memorable books I've ever read is The Last of the Just by Andre Schwartz-Bart. I need to re-read it.
