Default JL Book Club: August Book Picks

I found some links to some books that other book clubs are reading. Here are some suggestion. I figure we can do a poll and whichever books gets the most votes will be the one we read. Then whoever finishes first can start at thread "JL Book Club: <insert book title>" and we can start a discussion thread.

Here's a link to the top book club picks right now:

I just finished it, but don't mind if we start with that one.

I just picked up The Help if no one has read that?

I wish I would take time to read like I used to.

I have read Eat, Pray, Love; but could read it again. I haven't read The Help.

I recently read The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake.

I'm planning on reading Eat, Pray, Love and I've only heard good things about The Help, but have not yet had a chance to read it!

I was also thinking about starting The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo....

    I'm up for anything!

I haven't read any of them, so I don't care what we start with!
