Default Another book ?- Dean Koontz fans

The Watchers- yeah or Nay? A friend "highly" recommended it, but after looking at the excerpts, I'm not so sure. Unless its non-fiction, I prefer, light hearted, fun, no stress reads. Am currently reading " Half Asleep In Frog Pajamas" by Tom Robbins- one of the books that was recommended to me in my thread. I am throughly enjoying it, and have lots to read, from the same list. So thoughts?

The book is great! I highly recommend it too. It's one of my favorites, and I enjoy the mystery/horror books that Dean Koontz writes. I've heard a few movies were made, but that they were nothing compared to the book (go figure).

I like reading him, because a lot of his books incorporate dogs into the stories. The Darkest Evening of the Year is another great read by Koontz, with a dog as a main character in the story.

See I'm a not a mystery/horror book type- that was why I was wondering. I think she recommended it only because it somehow involves a dog! I'm a scardy cat

Yeah, maybe not the best kind of book if you don't like the mystery Man, I could give you a list of Koontz books that incorporate dogs in the storylines. If you ever change your mind about the mystery/horror books you could check some out, hah (or read with the lights on? ). You should try Lost and Found by Jaqueline Sheehan (Lost & Found (2007) - Jacqueline Sheehan). It's not mystery/horror, and a black lab is a vital character.

You might want to check out some of these Koontz books. Trixie Books - Dean Koontz - The Official Site They're written from the point of view of his golden retriever, except for A Big Little Life, which is about her. I have that one, haven't read it yet. It's in my "Read Me" pile along with about 10 other books, hah.
