Some background --
I have always LOVED the Charleton Heston version of this story ("The Omega Man"), finding it creepy and engaging.
So I was eager to love the remake as well.
And I've got to say, it works. I think it loses some of the edge of the original, but thanks to Will Smith and some truly frightening SPFX, this all comes together nicely.
Must warn, though: If you're easily upset by dog-in-jeopardy plotlines, this one's got one.
Kelrobin Cleveland Street Denizen, CGC [Parker] (Apr 2011 - Big paws to fill but you certainly look up to the task.)
"Dear George: Remember, no man is a failure who has friends. Thanks for the wings. Love, Clarence" -- IAWL Screenplay (1946)
LOVED this movie. Almost didn't finish though because of the dog scene.

I liked this movie.
Now I want to check out "The Omega Man"!
Anthony Zerbe as Matthias. One of the creepiest movie villains ever. At least when I was 12 or so.....
