Just watched it last night. I liked it. Apparently Morgan Freeman and Nelson Mandela are friends and Freeman has been wanting to do a movie about Mandela. Instead of doing a sweeping biopic they figured that showing this pivotal time when Mandela took office and how he tried to bring the country together would give audiences the same understanding of what Mandela was facing at the time and a sense of how great his accomplishment was. As I had heard from critics....Matt Damon did a fabulous job with the dialect and beefed up for the role of captain rugby player. IMDB says that when Damon went to meet the actual captain the guy, who is a LOT bigger than Damon, just looked at Damon until Damon said "I look at lot bigger on screen". Too funny.

Oh and the flyover scene really happened.

No but I just heard a review on the radio and that guy said it was the best movie he had seen all year. I may have to see it.
