Dog swims in Oregon (Willamette Valley)

There are two pool swims scheduled for dogs coming up I wanted to share with you all. Both are done just before they close the pool for maintance and for dogs only. We went to the Corvallis one last year and had a ball. I am planning on going to the Monmouth swim for sure and hopefully Corvallis also. At both it's dogs only in the water (unless there is a dog in trouble). Lifeguards and Vet staff are present also.

1. August 25th: Western Oregon University, Wolverine Memorial Pool, Monmouth. Five sessions, cost is $5.00 per dog. Pre-registration required. contact: www.wou.edu/student/campusre/aquatics.php

2. September29: Osborn Aquatic Center, Corvallis. Three sessions, $5.00 per dog. No pre-registration. Contact: 541-766-7946 or www.ci.corvallis.or/pool.
