We are all for rescuing a lab!! If I had my way we would be over run by them. I would try and house all of them. It is a big problem here in England and the labrador trust are inundated with dogs needing homes. We got Twix from a rescue place, and we will, in this year, rescue another. Chloe, our precious dog before Twix, was also a rescue dog and lived to the grand old age of 15 1/2. People need to be educated about these dogs needing a home instead of going out and buying a dog for about £500 and then letting it go on the streets because they lose interest!! These people need to be prosecuted!! You wouldnt put a child out because you were bored!!
