Josie is actually half Lab and half Springer and compact. She would be much happier in home that could use her in tracking, SAR, or any kind of retrieving work. She is chocolate and docked tail due to an injury. She is high drive, very smart and comes when called. She is 2 yrs. old. She has a very good nose on her. Sweet temperament. Located in Indiana.

Have you contacted your local Lab rescue group? They would be able to screen potential adopters. Much safer way to place your dog.
Sharon - still not a dude.
No, I do rescue myself. I will screen people if I get anyone interested. I won't ship her. She's a fun dog, I'm just too busy to do any serious training with her. However, I am thinking on getting her started tracking. She's a chocolate Lab, and her docked tail makes her look very sharp. She has a lovely head. I won't place her with just anyone. Lab Rescue I would think would only take purebred. And besides, i'm sure there are a million Labs in rescue. I rescued her myself from a lady that had no business with a high drive dog like her. She's such a happy girl that she banged her tail in her crate so much that she had a wound that would not heal, so off it had to come. That was last fall.
