    Out of curiosity, how did you get your pup at only 6 weeks of age?
    It hasn't been above freezing and I have changed out bedding, and clothing several times as well as vacuumed multiple times.

    We came across him at the local animal shelter. He had two sisters with him but when we went back to pick him up the sisters were gone and the lady at the desk didn't know anything about them. Not sure how such young pups go stray?!?

    Someone likely couldn't find homes for them, got tired of cleaning up puppy poop, and dumped them somewhere.

    Once you get him all settled, you may want to post about socializing. I don't know much about dog behavior, but I do know puppies that are separated that early from the "pack" can sometimes have problems socializing with other dogs. I know kaytris and some others on this forum are very knowledgeable about this, perhaps they can chime in.
