I think Blue was about 10-12 pounds at 8 weeks (I'd have to check). Reba weighed in at 11 pounds at 7 weeks. I agree, they all grow at different rates depending upon the lines. For example, I don't know how many times I've been told that "big paws" myth (big paws as puppy= big adult). Almost all Lab puppies have big paws for their size, so that's really not an accurate measure. So, I wouldn't worry too much about weight unless he looks overweight. There really isn't a measuring stick for puppy weights (although Labby's equation is pretty darn close ).
