Vet appointment went well. This new vet is very good at what she does. We switched him to 1/2 kibble and 1/2 fruit or veggies for food to lean him up and Im not a huge kibble fan. And we will be starting the Adequin in the next couple of weeks. He is off the Rimadyl and is doing better (pain wise) off of it than he was on it. Weird!
Thank you for the info on the pool. I think we are going to invest in one this month. I just need to figure out how I am going to equip it so they can get in and out. I found a 12x3 pool for under $90. How big is the one that you have and does he ever jump on the sides?
Hi if you Google Rimadyl class action law suit you will find a few great sites and you will see BY LAW your vet should have given you the insert with all ADE's ..Labs are known to have issues with this med. My golden DIED from it..What did your new vet give you for the throwing up blood? I have you both in my prayers and hope doggy feels way better soon..My lab was purchased with some of the money I won in that law suit so it is not a urban legend or anything....I would get to the bottom of the blood issues..I came in here looking for allergy info and also salt in dogs paws saw this and HAD to reply to this..If you live in a COLD state with some joints your dog should not swim..that is my opinion but cold would tighten and cause more pain but tepid to warm water is very good for joints..I am old lol so I know sore joints
