Male bleeding nipple??

My boys nipple is bleeding and we don't know why....nothing is out of the ordinary other than we just adopted a four year old boxer a week ago. They get along fine but could that have anything to due to his nipple bleeding??? Is this serious or should I just watch it for the next couple of days?

do you mean its like a discharge? or is it possible that he scratched it or nicked it while itching or playing? is it swollen, or tender to the touch?
