not good. the meds did nothing. his liver level went up more than 200 points.
he's peeing every 15 minutes and sometimes while walking .in the crate.
i spoke to my vet who faxed the bloodwork to the internist to see if there is anything else that can be done.
he's lowered the prednisone, again, to 5 mg.(started at 30, went down to 15 last sat)
i don't think it will be long. today he was acting confused. that happens with liver failure.
nick, who i thought was in denial, isn't.
we're very sad.

What does your vet think is the best course of action? Just keep him comfortable and happy?

don't know any plan as of now.sadly, i don't think he's gonna last too long.maybe i'll be wrong.

Oh no! I am so very sorry. It is heart breaking. I am sending you warm thoughts and I pray for your strength to go through this. Bless poor Rex's heart, he has been through so much. I sure hope he can turn around and get better.
