It would seem like the test would depend on the amount of water he's been drinking. I think I would seek another opinion. There's always something to worry us, isn't there. I sure hope you get to the bottom of it.

Ironically, one of my adopters contacted me in a panic as the dog had tested (twice) for un-concentrated urine and the vet was stating kidney failure. I am all for being cautious and follow up but seriously, what's with the drastic conclusions these vets made!? The adopter is waiting for the results of another test and then will do blood work then get another opinion.

When Reckless turned 7 the vet staff recommended the "Senior Panel" and I told them when he started acting like a Senior I'd consider it...
