Glad he's feeling better, poor boy!

Our boy at around 12 weeks was diagnosed with demonic mange. it was isolated to one area of his his face.there was an area about the size of a quarter that went about bald. he was put on ivermectin which we had to give him for about 5 or 6 weeks. the vet had said not to give heart worm meds during his treatment.
he was also dealing with an ear infection. we believe that this was all brought on by him being allergic to chicken based foods. he is all fine now

glad to hear he is doing well now!! General seems to be doing 99% better! A little concerned though...we gave him his heart worm medicine during the ivermectin treatment (which he still has a few weeks of)...is that going to be dangerous?!

I would ask your vet, but he should be fine. They say that because technically ivermectin IS a heartworm treatment (or was originally used for that) so it's kind of double dosing.
