Spike got neutered :)

Hi Everyone - computer crashed then life took over yada yada yada. Found a new vet who I am very happy with. Going to look into the possibility that he may have an issue with his liver that is causing the seizures/collapsing. Had another ultrasound and his kidneys look the same as they did 6 months ago so that's good. Got him neutered on Monday and he's doing ok - running more than he should so we are trying to keep tabs on that. He seems to be sleepier after he runs, even across the yard. I'm keeping an eye on the incision and that area and all looks well. He's not been crated at night and I think he needs that - I know I sure do - as he is not sleeping through the night. Are these cat naps normal? He's never been much of a daytime sleeper so it seems strange to me. Oh yeah, he has roundworms now too - ahhhhhh. lol Thanks!

When will you know about his liver? Sophie had round worms a while back. She got some pills for it. We had wormed her as a puppy and so did the breeder, but the vet said the wormer for young puppies doesn't kill round worms. Good news on his kidneys!

The vet has an internist friend who he has been discussing things with. Once he talks to her and Spike heals up from the neutering we will run the test. It's just a fasting type of test so it's not that involved. He was wormed as a puppy too but it was only recently that he started getting the runs
