Severe allergic reaction possible Wells Syndrome? Anyone heard of this?

It's day 10 and my dog is not responding to treatment for a possible bug bite or bee stings? 2 yr old yellow lab. He's on bendryll, prednisone now and is not responding to treatment. Has had cortisone and steroid shots already. Going tomorrow for dermatology consult may be wells syndrome or sweets syndrome. He's lost 5 lbs and his skin is so inflammed it's blood red. Anybody heard of Wells disease? Can't find much on line but do see it may be common in labs? This is my 3rd Lab and I have never heard of such a thing.

Any help or insight is appreciated.

I looked up those diseases on the internet. It looks like people get this too. I just did a google search. I have never heard of these before. I sure hope you find out what's wrong with your guy.
