Simba is ill

Good wishes for Simba! I am guessing that he gets subcutaneous fluids when he goes to the hospital every day.

I am glad to hear that your pup is feeling better. He could be dehydrated because of no water and little food. The suggestion of getting fresh food is a good one and try to give him a little water at a time instead of a large bowl. Good luck and hope is feeling his best soon.

Simba is completely fine now....he has become very very thin but no issues coz he is gonna be more stronger and healthier soon.He was not eating anything till yesterday but he was very desperate to drink lots of water so was giving him coconut water and today morning i gave him highly boiled rice with some curd(yogurt) and he ate it,was feeding in little quantities him for every three hours as he was on empty stomach for a long time.
Finally everyone in the family is so happy so see simba running around in the house

It sure is scary to see your little one sick with no real way to tell you whats wrong. This is how baby Ava spent last Wednesday through Sunday.

She had bloody vomit and diarrhea. She was extremely dehydrated and weak. I rushed her to the Tufts emergency hospital where she received exceptional care. The immediately put her on IV fluids and antibiotics. She had x-rays, and an ultrasound to check for blockage. It turned out to be "just" a bacterial infection in her intestines (gastroenteritis). We believe she picked it up from swallowing too much water while swimming in a local lake. Ava has been home now for 4 days and with the exception of the shaved belly and arms she is 100% back to normal. I am pleased to read that Simba is on his way to a full recovery too.

I am so glad Simba is getting better! You have gone the extra mile for you dog, and we are all glad he has you for his mama. Keep a close watch on him. Be careful what you feed him till he is all well.
