    Default Labrador's weight

Can anyone tell me What should a Labrador Retriever weigh? especially a 2 year old girl?
Does anyone know the breed average for either Australia or England?
hope to hear from you soon

The weight of labs can vary so much...you can't really say what your girl should weigh.
I have 2 girls-Moka is 15 months old and weighs 53 lbs. She's very short and small. Java is her full sister and she is bigger, weighs 65 lbs.

Our one year old male weighed 37.5 kilos last time he was at the vets - and is no no way overweight.

it depends how they look more than the number of pounds. they should be able to have their ribs felt rather easily.

You should be able to locate the breed standard for Labradors in England and Australia. That should give you an answer.

My girls are all 21-21.75" tall, are very moderate in bone and weigh between 53 and 60# in good working condition. They conform well to the FCI standard.
I'd expect a taller girl w/ similar bone to weigh proportionately more.

Kassa was just on the standard height and around 26-28 kilos. Not sure the lbs as we use kilos in N.Z. Erns is good around 28 kilos.

It's 2.2# per kg so Erns is 61.6# -- small by US standards!

Ruby was 80lbs at 2, so was her daughter. It varies greatly, I'd go by body condition before weight.
