My lab is about 3 and a half years old and he has developed ONE droopy eye (the lower lid of his left eye hangs down and the skin inside the eyelid is quite red in color). The vet has prescribed eye drops with antibiotics but it has been about a week now and there is really no visible improvement. I was wondering if anyone had encountered this same problem and what the treatment was?
I'm glad youve been to the vet - I'd be worried about it being neurological

Did your vet check the fluid pressure of your Lab's eyes? When my Auggie got glaucoma, that is how she first 'presented', with one lower lid inflamed and drooping.
Perhaps your vet can direct you to a veterinary ophthalmologist or a veterinary school/university with specialists.
If it were an infection, I would think that one should notice improvement in a couple of days...

It MIGHT be palsy. I don't know if it affects young dogs but my boy was diagnosed with it when he was about 12-13. The vet said it might come right but it never fully returned to normal.
These aren't very good pics but does yours look like this? Note his left eye.
