Surpised a pan of brownies would be enough, but it sounds like it might be. Get your dog to a vet, emergency vet, whatever you have available. Current behavior may not me related, but if it is, time is essential. Don't wait.

    Default She's doing much better

Thank you for the responses, no the brownies were'nt "special", lol...we called the vet, and they said it sounds like the brownies did it. We were going to take her, but she seems much calmer, no more vomiting, and she's looking for crumbs again...a good sign! ...she is drinking, now also....acting happy, playful,,,she was up pacing and vomiting most of the night!

I should let Luckt6 reply, but I think she was referring to Special Dark. A lot more toxic chocolate content in them. Surprised vet didn't have you get in for some quick blood tests to make sure the kidneys were still functioning.

I don't know if there is adequate theobromine in a tray of brownies to cause a problem. A large dog like a Lab would have to eat a LOT of straight bakers chocolate to cause injury.

In any event - I would be at the vet for a blood test.

Ed...you never had wild days??? You never had a "special" brownie?? Kinda relaxes you and makes you giggle a lot!!! But yes....dark chocolate is much more toxic than milk chocolate.

Yeah - I did not think you were talking about special chocolate!

a pan of brownies wouldn't do that to sally and there isn't a dog more sensitive than Sally - I wonder if it was just bad timing

hoep your pocch is feeling better - I would have gone to the vet personally but I erron that side of things usually
