Please Say a Prayer for Tal

I took Tal, Barney, and Midnight to the vet today. Tal went for his annual shots and check up, Barney because he had yet another round of dirrahea and Midnight to follow up from the teeth extraction from a couple of weeks ago.

I figured after three bouts with dirrahea, it had to be something other than an upset tummy. Barney has some kind of worm that is pretty easy to treat (I just can't remember the name of it). One dose per day, for three days. Midnight is doing great, except hating to travel

As a precaution, we are also treating Tal for that bug Barney has. BUT, his (Tal's) heartworm test came back positive. Just to make sure, they are sending another sample to a lab for confirmation. He doesn't show not a single symptom she described. I have no idea how this could have happened. I am fanatical about giving them their preventative (Heartguard) every month.

I am going to be pretty antsy because it will take several days to get the results back. She told me what they need to do to treat him, and asked for my recepits for his HW meds. She said Merial will pay for all of part of his treatment if he is confirmed positive. I did deserve an Oscar for my performance though because I didn't want Tal to think anything was wrong. So I kept like I always am for his sake. I am worried about my boy and can't even think of anything happening to him.
