I have a 5 1/2 month old yellow lab. He hasnt changed his food in over two months. I dont know if he has eaten anything diff. The only thing is he get into my neighbors cat litter box and sometimes eats some poop, but never with this effect. He has pooped in his cage about 7 times in the last 3 days on the floor once. would have been twice if i didnt catch him. The poop is runny but not real runny, but it has this yellowish carmel slime in it and I wasnt worried at first because it went away for like two days and now it is back again. He goes outside and will try to poop for like 5 mins and nothing will come out or maybe just a little bit. He is acting normal and eating normal should I bring him to the emergency room?
Bowel blockage?. I'd get him to the vet ASAP.Originally Posted by sapper3121

I am no pro but I think I would at least call the emergency vet and talk to them.
Is he drinking water?

Sounds like an obstruction of some kind. He needs to be seen today, right now. Call your vet and ask where you should take him.
and please let us know how he is when you can. Good luck
