Competing in *any* venue is a wonderful way to bond and train with your dog, including rally, obedience, and many other performance events that are offered in the AKC and Canadian KC. I would go ahead and register your puppy so that you don't have to pay a higher fee later on should you decide that you would like to try out some of the performance events. They're a lot of fun, and dogs that are spayed/neutered can compete!
