Hershey Kisses has taken on a new job!

She has been trying to do this far a couple weeks now. I didn't understand what was going on.

When I take her out in the morning, I bring the newspaper in on the back to the house. About two weeks ago, she started trying to grab the paper from me and I would keep it away from her. I figured she was just trying to shred it before it was in the recycling bag.

On Tuesday of this week, I decided to let her have it and see what happens. She held it in her mouth and followed me inside, bumping it into the back of my leg as we went. I have her give it to me in side, and she immediately took her sit front position looking up at me as she always does for a treat. Hmmm! She got one.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday! Same routine. She wanted another important job!!!!! Whooopppeeee! Or did she just figure out another way to earn a treat.

I need to think this through. Does this have something to do with the other post about dominance/leadership? Is Hershey Kisses the leader training me what I have to do before giving her treats? I think I am the one being trained.

Clarence has that job too! He only gets the paper Mon-Sat though, Sunday's NYT is a little too big for him to fit in his mouth. He loves doing it and SU loves the paper delivered to his feet! Good for HK!! ;D

I'm impressed what a smart girl!!! I wish Rush or Boo would do that but Boo would shred it and Rush, well, she just doesn't care lol.
