I wasn't actually talking to you, and I Hardly think saying "geez I said sorry" shows I'm upset in anyway..it'll take a lot more than a forum on dogs to upset me...let's lighten up hey? Its ment to be fun isnt it??

Because often the responder gives advice to the OP that is really no longer needed and often the OP is not even actively posting anymore. And - posting an opposing viewpoint on what is basically a closed conversation just stirs shit up. I've seen it a thousand times on this board.

If the topic is of interest, starting a new thread is a better option.

I understand completely. Dredging up the old threads happens in every forum. And it does cause confusion if nothing else. I was serious when I suggested locking old threads. They can still be read just not replied to. I have seen it work (somewhat) in other forums.
