Default Living on third floor carry down stairs or elevator ride for potty?

Just braught Coco home snd was wondering if it would be better to take her in the elevator or carry her down the stairs to do her business?

Which is faster? While a pup it may be urgent she goes asap.

She's a puppy, right? The stairs might be a bit much for a little one if the risers are very deep. Nice opportunity to get her used to elevator manners and eliminate any fear of them. Some dogs are uneasy in elevators. Mine were.

Ok what is the best way to get her to walk on the leash? She doesn't follow at all.

There are really good training books and nothing is more helpful then an obedience class, after the pup has had all its shots. Please don't just pull your pup around, work with her around the house first, get her used to the lead. Please do some reading and learn about basic training of your pup- Good luck with her, I wish you both the best! Di

Politicians and diapers should be changed frequently and all for the same reason.

Right now you will either have to carry her or go where she wants when she is on her leash. Start when she is done doing her business with a few treats to get her to walk where you want her to go.

There is some excellent puppy books out...in fact I think I had one call Labradorers for Dummies that I used.

Thanks for your help I did not mean to drag her i meant to just keep tension on the lead. Thanks for all the suggestions from other members the food works much better than treats and I got her to walk to and from the elevator.
    Thanks a lot guys.
