Bobbie recovery update

Hi all!

Just thought i'd do a quick post to update you all on Bobbie's progress since her op as I won't be around until after Xmas now.

She is doing really well! Vet very pleased with her and she is due to start her hydrotherapy next week or the week after Xmas to build the muscle back up. We have started taking her on tiny tiny walks just down the road and back and she does so well. She is using the leg as long as we are going very slowly.

All hopefully points us in the direction of a full recovery. Oh and her fur is finally growing back

I missed why Bobbie had surgery but appears to be acl possibly. Glad she is doing well.

She slipped her collar after being spooked and was hit by two cars on a main road. Lucky little girl survived but yes she had major surgery a couple of weeks ago to re-attach the torn ligaments and to re-position her knee that was displaced. They also found that she had a *bowed* leg that she would have been born with, which they had to fix before they could put the knee back in the correct position.

Although it is major surgery and recovery that she has had, we are so thankfull it wasn't much worse. The second car hit her shoulder and head. :'(
