Oakley just had one because she was stinky.
It had been a loooong time since she had a bath.
    She hates it.

Only if she rolls on something exceptionally disgusting. Mine is in water every day, so it has never been much of any issue.

Tal is 15 months and I have had hime since he was 7 weeks old. He has never had a bath. Been swimming a bunch and I have rinsed him off afterwards. No need to unless they get into something really stinky. Even then a good rinsing and squirt them with some dilute listerine.

IMHO, you should never bathe a lab because you run the risk of damaging or destroying their coat's ability to protect and drying out their skin. Not something I wanna risk!

Gabs has had one bath. She got into a tick nest when she was ten weeks old and there was nooo way I could pick them all off. I got forty off one ear before I gave up and called the groomer.

Two baths with soap after rolling twice in something dead. Any other time has been a quick rinse with a hose if she was muddy and that's that.

Pete is almost seven and he's had maybe 5 baths. He just has one not long ago because after a dog park visit he was a little stinky. He doesn't like it much but he's such a loyal boy that I can get him in the tub without touching him in any way.

People ask me if I bathe him a lot cause his coat is so soft but he's just naturally soft.

The last time was 1 1/2 - 2 years ago roughly. That was after they all thought it would be a great idea to roll in a rotting badger corpse. Usually if they roll in something disgusting I'll spot clean the afflicted area but they got it all over them that time. We couldn't have got away with anything other than a full bath that time.
