Funny post procedure story

Well, it's not really a story, but something one of my friends from the club said. I am betting a few of you can appreciate the humor

So, she emailed and asked how Angus was. I told her all about today, but that he was still so doped up tonight. He's not the usual Angus at all. Very subdued and quiet, very gentle, just lying around.

So my friend emails back and says:

This is kinda awful, but don't you sometimes wish we had regular access to this stuff? I had the Whippet girls spayed about a month ago, and said that we needed to get them spayed once a week for the rest of their lives. :-)

Poor little Angus. He really is so sweet when he's on drugs, though. :-*

I had to laugh when I was bringing Boo home from being neutered. He usually tries to climb up into the front seat of the car, then look out each back window. He was so tired, he just put his head on my shoulder and passed out. When I got him home, I cuddled him for 30 minutes. He was too tired to escape. This has never happened at 4pm before or since!

I can relate. When Duke was neutered, we had to lightly sedate him so he could heal. But you know what, when you have a real energetic lab....if he's quiet (not on drugs), you know somethings wrong.

Awwwwwwwwwww poor quite Angus....I wonder if Simon is going to try a con some of Zoe's allowance from her so he can buy a supply for when he wants peace and quite.
