Nala is 4.5 months old, is she too young for bully sticks or knuckles? I was looking for something for her to chew on when we are up at the lake at night. Right now she chews nylabones but I was hoping to get something that would last a little longer.

I don't think there is an natural or man made object that will last longer than a solid, non-edible Nylabone. ;D
If your pup likes to chew Nylabones I would stick with them.
I have found that the big chew knot last longer than other shapes..

She can have bully sticks, marrow or knuckle bones as long as you're supervising. As soon as it gets close to being small enough to fit entirely in her mouth, throw it away. My pups get frozen marrow bones once or twice a week from the time I bring them home and love them!!

My vet advised waiting until the adult teeth are grown in and fully set before giving marrow bones.

She likes to chew on the flavored nylabones that are chewable but she can go through them pretty quickly. Where the lake house is there is no petstores within 40 min so I wanted to bring something that might last a little while. We were at petsmart last night and she seemed interested in these things which I just wanted to make sure they were safe for her.

Those appear to be cooked bones and should be totally avoided. Feed only rwa bones as cooked bones can splinter. If you haven't tried the plain hard non-edible Nylabones I would see if your pup likes them. My boys love them and they last for months.

And that is exactly why I come here before buying stuff like this. I would have figured they would have been good for her cause they were cooked. I will try the nylabones and see if she likes them. Thank you so much. Those appear to be cooked bones and should be totally avoided. Feed only rwa bones as cooked bones can splinter. I stick with frozen stuffed Kong's and other safe puppy chews. Then I introduce marrow bones when the adult teeth are in.
I gave bully sticks around that age and it was fine.

I gave Mambo bully sticks from that age on. He loved them. Never really chewed anything else but those. But like someone already said. I would take them away once they were small enough to fit in his mouth.
