I think we had a similar discussion during the Diamond recall, but the vast majority of kibbles are made at just a handful of plants.

Nutro, Natural Choice...Lamb Meal and Natural Rice formula.. that is what I feed my dog... I bought a new bag at Pet Smart yesterday...they assured me that her food was not recalled..but I see Nutro Natural Choice on this list.. Please advise..
its the canned/semi moist pouch varieties, NOT the dry kibble
Thanks, after looking on the links...thanks Kzunell..I had just a moment of panic;;
I would panic too...really. Every year or so there seems to be an incident in the dog food industry.
I am leaning more and more to feeding RAW.
<br /><br />
Then you have to worry about salmonella, ecoli, hormone and anti-biotic fed stock, choking, getting the balance of nutrients and ingredients right....
I think we need to remember that there have been 10 (I think) reported deaths, and the other recalls are precautionary only.
10 that we know of...how many people's dogs died and they didn't connect it to the food? or suffered from complications...
I am not a hysterical type person. IT just seems to me that there are problems...serious ones, every year or 2. It is a cause for concern. And I naturally wonder, what can I do to avoid any harm coming to my dogs. If RAW feeding would eliminate some of those concerns, then I would do it.
