THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!!
Well, we were up bright & early again, heading back for the new procedure of the day. :-\ I told them yesterday, if they gave me my own key, I would be sure to turn the lights off when I leave. The girls at the front desk just chuckled & said, "Might as well you are here almost as much as we are." Anyway, this was short & sweet. Mia had a hard time waking after the last procedure & they called me to get her right before they closed. Since I knew this was supposed to be a "same day" I told the head office girl, "As soon as she can stand, call me, she won't "come out" of the anesthesia like you want for her to come home, she didn't last Friday, remember?" So about a hour & a half after I dropped her off, they were calling to come get her. She was awake & could stand. She was really confused & I had to carry her in & out of the Blazer (she puddled on a rubber backed felt mat). When we came home she would only walk if both Lori & I were beside her, so we tried to walk her to the grass for a short potty trip, we headed straight back to the house when a ACORN appeard to trip her. She slept in her house for 4 hours & then she came out when she could have a drink & a little food. She is still a little groggy it seems the fluids comming from the drain smell HORRIBLE! The drain has to be cleaned twice a day with peroxide, the e-collar 2-3 times a day. We have had to keep poor Daisy away & locked up again, with the smells & sounds Mia is making Daisy has a very difficult time dealing with & continually barks at her. Mia gets very upset. :-[ Daisy gets one warning then off to her crate. We know Daisy can't help it, but Mia can't either. We have ALL the furniture super covered & I have bought two extra dog beds with zip off covers in case she or the drain leaks...... We have another round of antiobitics to do again. He did a urine sample, no infection. He still says all of these symptoms COULD be from all the anesthesia she has had of late & her test results will be back soon. :
Her other Lymph gland on the other side is swollen the size of a golf ball & there is another lump near it, gumball size. The area where the fluid was did have swelling below & to the right of the surgery site. He is still staying positive
"Let's just hope this is from the stonoma, & the results will be back soon."
She is sleeping now, I am going to wake her to eat a little & give her something to drink & her meds & then she can head back to sleep for a while!!!
