I was speaking with my uncle last night, and he has finally convinced my aunt to get a dog. They were down here visiting a couple months ago, and just fell in love with Toby. My uncle has had labs in the past. They really want a puppy, my uncle would prefer a chocolate, my aunt favors yellows. They want to go the rescue route rather than a breeder. When I told them about Chamois, they got really excited, especially that she has littermates that may still be available - but we're down in Houston and they're up in Boston, so I suggested that he look for a lab rescue closer to where they live.
If anyone is familiar with any of the organizations up there, or knows of any lab pups in need of homes, I'd love to pass on the information to them. They will make wonderful puppy-parents.
Thanks, and Merry Christmas!
Toby and Chamois say: GO STEELERS!

I dealt with and adopted my Lexi through Labs 4 Rescue! Definitely an awesome group, lots of nice people & would definitely recommend them.Originally Posted by henrysmom

We got one of our labs through labs4rescue.com as well. They did a great job, and they have CT, MA, NH, CT, and eastern NY well covered.

They have a few, including a beautiful black female that just came in.
They are very flexible about coming to you or meeting part way. I've never gotten one from there, but know someone who has adopted 2 from them.
If they decide to go the breeder route, the breeder my family deals with has the most beautiful yellow female I've ever seen.
