love my vet- hate the mixes ups

My vet is awesome she always gives phone advice and extra meds for buddy's ears to I don't have to come in.she also educates and makes sure I get it before sending me on the my way.* Well she said that she put in my file that I could get buddys prescription ear cleaner with out seeing and then if that doesn't work to come in and see her and she would give the prescription (which he never needs)* well* I went to go get some about 2 months back and they were out of it so they wet and asked her.* so she gave him the prescription and they receptionist (which there is several ) order me a bottle of the cleaner.* I called once but it had not come in yet. so he got in to something and his ear has flareup so I called to get some and the receptionist can't find it in my file??? It was found 2 months ago.* so when I called her back to explain where in the file it should be she was on lunch.* It drives me crazy* this happens every time he needs meads or other information..* I think when I go in January to the vets for his needle* I'm going to get her to highlight it at the top of the file or something- really clear.* I feel better that I vented - thanks

Ya all but one girl at the front desk at my vet are ding dongs. I don't much care for them. They have had a HUGE turn over of front desk people in the last 6 months.....

Sorry to hear your having such a problem w/ the girls at the vets office...i have the same problem w/ mine...but mine are old and nasty. when i went to pick chance up from his surgery the lady was totally giving me an attitude and rolling her eyes....i had my mom (who was covering for the bill at the time) call in and she reamed her out...how about a little courtesy.

That's a shame. Something that seems so simple...ISNT! lol
Have you tried the ear cleaner on labby's site? It is simple to make and then you'd always have some on hand when you needed it.

she called back and when I told her exactly in the file it was she found it : I just hate that they make me feel I have no clue what I am talking about. the ear cleaning stuff buddy is on has a steriod in it and I only use it when he eats something he isn't suppose and his ears are inflammed
