I looked on a couple of sites and they say tomatoes are not good for dogs. Well Boo thinks they are good and has eaten my tomatoes off my plants, thank you very much. No adverse reaction, but it has been only small tomatoes. However, I read in an article in a pet magazine that giving a dog 1/4 cup of tomato juice once a day will keep your grass from burning with their urine. Now 2 vets have said it is no problem, 1 said he didn't advise it. So what is your take on this??? Laura you have a lot of experience, what's your view?

Linda, I believe you're right about the drinking more water/diluting the urine. Mo LOVES tomatoes and I've shared several grape tomatoes with him, but my vet said the same thing about him drinking more and he already has dilute urine. So, I have to be careful.
As for the grass thing, I wouldn't know :
