That used to happen to Zorro alot when he slept on the bed. He'd get down and couldn't walk until I massaged it for a few. Hasn't happened in a couple of years now.

Thanks again to all of you for your responses. Like the first time my lab got cold tail...I knew what it was from the folks on the forum. So many vets have never hard of it.

Molly is fine today. I feel better that others have seen their labs act this way. It does make sense & she acted like all of you described your labs did.

And that is why I love this place.

OMG this just happen this morning with my dog. I was so scared he could not get up... i sat rubbing his legs like OMG I need to get him to the ER and then he pops up and walks down 2 steps and then drops again. Now I am almost freaking out and I can see that he is scared as well I pick him up and carry him down the stairs place him on the chair and then 2 mintues later pops up off chair and is walking and running around the back yard like nothing happened. I am stting here trying to restart my heart because it stopped.

HAH! I didn't look at the date on this thread at the start. When I read what Georgie wrote, I composed my reply in my head. Then I saw that I had posted SIX YEARS ago almost word for word what I had in my head this morning! At least I'm consistent, eh??

I am with you Nance. I am only on my first cup too. I saw that & wondered...when the hell did I post that?

I am glad, though, that the forum can help someone with a problem....even 6 years later.

My shep/dob X Caleb used to have that happen, so did Cybil. Perfectly normal.
