Wondering if Molly is home yet. Do you know any more yet? Hoping she is doing OK.

Hi everyone! Thanks for thinking of us! I picked her up this morning. She is very thirsty, we have been giving her drinks in incriments. Small amounts every half hour or so, so she doesn't fill up too fast. I fed her after she was home about a hour & gave her a pain pill & then we crated her. She seems to really be uncomfortable & the leg is really swollen. She has several stitches. He checked before we left & the lab recieved the bone samples. I will research over the weekend, MORE YET, to see how long the actual test will take. If they have the sample NOW, wouldn't you think, they could tell us Monday what the results are? She is barely using the leg now, more just to steady herself. It is sad & heartbreaking to see her in so much pain. Hopefully after a few pills & lots of rest, tomorrow will be a better day! We are planning on lots of rest today, & hopefully tomorrow, she will feel like playing in her pool! He said no running & jumping BUT did NOT say NO POOL! As long as the WATER is clean, I don't see why it would hurt. It's just her baby pool & she loves it. She ma as well be as happy as she can be.* :-\ THANKS EVERYONE!

I hope today will be a good day for her after she gets some rest. Being home is a good thing!!
;D ;D Having her home is GREATEST thing for us!* ;D ;D The other girls don't understand why she keeps leaving for the day & overnights. Daisy is just BESIDE HERSLF when Molly is gone & waits by the back door, for her to come home. We didn't realize how dependent Daisy is on Molly.* :-\Originally Posted by zoezoe

When I had surgery and staples, they said no showers for a couple of days. I probably would not let her get her sutures wet. I never let my patients get their fresh sutures wet either. The water can get into the wouldn - bad for bone.
