She is such a strong-willed alpha wannabe that I have to fight her attitude every step of the way to remain pack leader.
I just love her soooo much but can't show it or she will have me wrapped around her little claw.
What did she do? ;D I didn't know she was like that.

Mine's just a don't-wanna-be-nothing....no alpha, no dominant...no nothing
........and I'm picturing you being or speaking sternly, and their reaction to your attempt.* *;D
(sorry...but every time I see that pic, I can't visualize anything serious)* ;D

Today she tore the kitchen tablecloth trying to reach a pig ear. Surfs whenever my back is turned. When I scold her, the head goes down, but the tail wags at the same time. What did she do?
I usually have to give commands twice before she obeys: I make them sit to put their collars on before the morning walk, but Judy doesn't think she needs to sit for that so I have to give her a rap on the butt to get it down - every day, the same thing; she knows what sit means.
When I call her, she knows she must come, but she walks toward me ever so slowly, takes a pee along the way. The girl has attitude.
(I secretly love her attitude)

That is kinda funny. I know how they can be. Rush is like that but she is just so damn cute you can't stay mad long.
I love your picture of them laughing at a secret joke. ;D
And who would have thought that raising our dogs would be harder than our kids! I feel for you Barbra!

I'm glad it's not just mine....strong willed little pest sometimes. I make her lay down during dinner and she waits until I get settled and start eating then she jumps up. Then I have to stop eating and put her back in "down-stay" and she WON'T go down. It's a battle and I have to stand over her, growl voice, and demand that she lay down, usually with collar correction. This happens at least four or five times in the course of dinner. And don't get me started with taking a chew toy and using me as a backstop for chewing then "accidentally" using me as the chew toy instead. I finally got tired of saying "NO CHEW" and used a can of air to emphasize my "NO CHEW!!" (the noise coming from nowhere got her attention big time) and now she sees that can and drops that toy off me IMMEDIATELY! **shakes head** :brat....
If my wife had been like that, we would probably still be married !!!!
