Default Tank Is Back Home - Update - Just back from regular vet 11:22 Monday

It was a rough night last night. Half of my face is still swollen from staying up and crying. He had tremors during the night but finally got comfortable about 3:00 am. I really thought I was going to lose him last night.

When he got up this morning he still was not seeing very well. He was bumping into things and drawing back when your hand came toward his eyes. His eyesight for some reason started to improve while we were the vets office. He is in much of a quandry as the ER doctors where. He ran blood work again and the stuff that was bad upon admitance to ER was good. He ate this morning but threw up right after from the antibiotic so I had the vet give an injection while we were there. If he thows up again after I reduce the dose I might have to go get some injectable and do it myself at home. Keeping an tabs on the eyesight if perhaps it was the result of antibiotic injections which he got one last night just before we picked him up and that is when he eyes got bad.

    Will update later today.

    ----------------------------------------------

Now he is acting like he is blind..............................will update in the am.* Too sad.
    --------------------------------------------

My baby is back home with me.* He was able to walk out of the vet office.* When I called this afternoon he still would not eat his food so I brought some chicken with me and he gobbled it down right away.* That made me happy.* His back legs are still not functioning properly but I am hoping to God that it is due to the infection going on which we are not sure how that came about or for how long it was been going on.* Also they question the mass.* There are some strange cells in there.* They gave me the slides and x-rays to take to regular vet if he does not improve.* He is on antibiotics right now 1,000 mg twice a day.* I will be watching him like a hawk the next day or two.* If I don't see improvement it is off to the regular vet or possibly an internist.* He has to be so tired.* Being in an ER room all night with all the commotion and smell of fear and dying animals.* When we left last night they had just brought in a dog that the owner thought had been mauled by a Rottie.* The dog did not make it.* I can't imagine what he thought about what was going on around him.

He still needs looks of prayers and thoughts.* Everytime he gets up to walk my blood pressure shoots up.* When he stumbles it breaks my heart.*

Here is my baby tonight.* Chia was definitely checking out his strange poodle cut
