AKC registration question

When we bought Shelby she was sold to SU. It wasn't until days after we got her that he told me she was really a surprise for me. The contract was in his name and so were the registration papers so she was registered in his name. I would like to have her registration put in my name. I already told Trish(my breeder) that she was a surprise for me. But I forgot to ask her about the registration. Do I need to get a transfer slip from her? I knew asking here first would be quicker then if I do need the transfer slip I will ask her for one. Thanks!

Did you SU already register her? There should be a place on there for him to sign over ownership.

Yes, she has already been registered in his name. So basically he just needs to sign the registration and I sign too and send in the fee?

Rescue Chicks...you should start a band and call it that..I think thats cool. btw...you all do something I don't think I could. I would keep all the dogs..'cause I couldnt bear to give them up. Kudos for doing taking in unwanted pets and making sure they wind up in a loving home.
