Yellow lab needs home now

I know I haven't been posting but this is kind of important.
I just came back from the town dump and they have an abandoned yellow lab being kept in part of the towns garage. I saw him by accident when one of the workers was walking him. He was found about 4 days ago. I got out of the car only to find that he was abandoned. I immediately checked him out, he has the webbed feet, teeth are in great condition, he is in great shape considering he was soaked from the rain. No fear from my handling him. Appears to be about 2 yrs old. Looks like he still has a little filling out to do. I almost took him right then but the game warden has to be notified first, and with my six and little Cisco it would have been too risky. He looks pure lab, coat, tail, etc. The problem is, the local rescue can't take him in, they are overfull. Bottom line, if he isn't claimed in the next few days, well you know the outcome.
He's a sweetheart, needs a little leash training but that's about it.

Since this fella is in CT, you try www.labs4rescue.com. I know they are based in CT and they might have a foster that can help this guy out.

you can contact americanlabrescue.com they may be able to help you....they have several fosters in CT
