In Topeka, KS, we've had a weekly Saturday LabFest (2-3 PM) for over 3 years.* There are some of us who meet regardless of weather (except when lightning storms or tornados are in our immediate area). On iffy days, I bring a radio that has NOAA weather bands and which automatically broadcastrs local emergency alerts.
Owners and their Labs attend for awhile, move out of town, and then get replaced by others.* I think we have a total of 12 when everyone shows up.
Today, the married daughter (& her spouse) of one of our long time members came for the first time with a 4-5 month old BM Lab puppy, "Mo-Jo."* (Cute name.)* She's also a vet asst at a local vet's office.
I was surprised and pleased at how gentle and accepting our other Labs were with Mo-Jo.* Even some of our most dominant (e.g., CF "Katie", our next door neighbor) was very gentle and played nicely with him.
We had 6 Labs, 10 people (2 were 5 years old), and a great time was had by all.*

One of the things I love most about Labs is the way they play with each other and accommodate each other for size and age.
It's so much fun watching them play together!
I bet this is one of Puff's favorite activities . . .*![]()
I wish we had a lab fest group here that met on a weekly basis. Sounds like you guys have a lot of fun!
Oh I how I wish there were a Lab-fest around here.* But it does amaze me how Labs know Labs.* Jake is Duke's buddy around the corner.* He's a Chocolate Bench line and 2 months older than Duke
This is what they look like when they play....2 rough housing boys.
Then there is Harley...a sweet little almost 3 months old female yellow lab across the street.* Duke is gentle and nothing but kissey face with her.
I hope the first picture doesn't come out huge like when I previewed. I resized it....but those teeth just come right at you.

Sounds like fun!! Wish there was a weekly Lab-fest around here!! Lucky Puff!![]()

I wish we did also. But Cinnamon is lucky there are a lot of labs at her daycare. Once in a while on a busy day they will have enough for a lab group. They try to split them off if there are 10 or more labs due to the energy level. Of course there is one daily attendee who has to go with the labs and it is a little pug. He has a fit if he isn't in with the big dogs or allowed to go with the labs. He is so funny but he loves to play with the big dogs. He belongs to one of the workers. They put him in with the small dogs one day to show me how he would react. He just goes off in the corner flops done and whines.
I afraid one of these days the lab pack is going to step on him but he has the sense to avoid the feet.
